A Routine For My Quarantine

Staying at home for a long period can be a stressing. We get bored easily and we tend to dive into some bad habits like eating unhealthily, give up on our beauty routines etc.… Let’s switch up our mind and use this time to make ourselves the best self we never had from head to toe, using natural products.

Here is a complete routine with homemade products to shine bright like a star.

First our hair



Let’s use an hydrating mask for an healthy look!


Ingredients:


1 egg

1 teaspoon lemon juice

1 small glass of olive oil or avocado oil

Mix the egg and lemon juice, then gradually add the vegetable oil until the mixture resembles mayonnaise. Then apply it generously to your lengths, emphasizing the tips. Leave on for at least 30 minutes and rinse with a gentle shampoo.

Then our face


We want to get ride of the small pimples and brighten our face by using a face mask/scrub


Ingredients:


1 tbsp honey

2 tbsp rice flour

2 tbsp turmeric

5 tbsp milk

Gradually pour in the milk and apply with a brush. Wear a wash t-shirt or towel as turmeric is staining. Let it set 20 minutes, rinse and apply a tonic lotion to remove the residue of the mask.



The third stop our lips



While we are working on our face let’s also erase imperfections we might have on our lips.


Ingredients:

1 tbsp ground cinnamon

2 tbsp honey

1 tbsp olive oil

2 tbsp sugar


Pour the honey, cinnamon and sugar into a small glass jar and mix with a spoon. Your homemade lip scrub is ready! all you have to do is to scrub your lips with the mix and let is stay until you rinse of your face.


Let’s continue with our body


We want a smooth baby skin, so we will scrub the dead skin with this following homemade scrub for the body.


Ingredient:


1/4 cup olive oil

1/2 cup brown sugar

half a cup of coffee grounds (replace finely ground oatmeal for sensitive skin)

Optional: a few drops of your favorite essential oil

To prepare the body scrub, combine all the ingredients.

Use on wet skin. Apply the scrub with circular motions, without pressing too much. Rinse.

Keep the mixture in a dry place for up to 4 weeks.


We will finish our beauty routine with our feet


The final stop of the routine will be our feet! Of course we still want the soles of our feet to be really soft so let's take care of them


Ingredients:


1 cup sea salt

1/2 cup coconut oil

1 tsp lemon zest


After a good foot bath, mix all the ingredient then massage your feet and let it rest for 20 min then rinse it.



These perfect combinations will work amazingly if it’s done twice a week. for the laziest of us let’s say once a week. Not only the entire body will be radiant, but the confidence will also be at the highest rate.
